All about the mooch by gpiv

It’s a bad day to be a blogger.  I have been cooking seafood jambalaya, made famous at Stadium view, for a 120 team basketball tournament.  This is my second passion.  I have been running it for 24 years and we make about $20,000 a year for the youth of our parish.

It’s lent and we have to have something meatless today.  So I spend about $150 on four gallons of jambalaya.  It gets rave reviews.  I recently made a fishless version for my vegetarian, Stacey, and while she said she liked it I think she was lying.

I’m going to try and write a blog from the tournament tomorrow on my laptop, a hand me down from Stacey.  Wish me luck.  Adventures at 55 years old are always exciting, even if it just a laptop.

Give a shout out to St. Bernadette.  If anyone out there has something to donate to my Bernadette golf tournament in May (we make about $6000) I would be much appreciative.

I’m all about the mooch, when it helps someone else.

For the record, I did like the jambalya… just not the okra, which I could easily pick out. And I hope your laptop works, because I like reading the blog, Dad.
